The 2025 Ford Ranger – coming soon to Ballentine Ford in Greenwood, SC, close to Greenville and Laurens – returns with bold performance and styling. Both of last year’s engine options are back. The standard, 270-hp 2.3L EcoBoost®, and the available, 315-hp 2.7L EcoBoost®V6. Both engines come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and 2WD or 4WD, and they can both tow up to 7,500 pounds¹. For exploring roads less traveled, you’ll want the FX4 Off-Road package includes the Terrain Management System and its seven drive modes – Normal, Eco, Sport, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Sand. The standard SuperCrew cab seats five passengers and offers impressive versatility with a hidden upper glovebox, extra storage under the rear seat, and fold-flat second-row seat backs. You’ll stay connected with SYNC® 4A on a standard 10-inch or available 12-inch Center Stack touchscreen.

You can delay upshifts to help reduce the frequency of your transmission shifting. This mode helps provide engine braking in all forward gears to help slow your Ranger^® truck down when descending a grade.
